Chai Cinnamon Stovetop Oats

























Do you want your source of dietary fiber, fruits, fats, carbs, and protein all in one bowl? Well here it is! This warm bowl of oats is the perfect way to start your day. If you're a huge fan of chai just as much as I am, I highly suggest incorporating this bowl into your mornings. So, let's get to it!


Yields: 1

Prep time: 10 minutes

Total time: 15 minutes


This recipe is dairy free, gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan.

 

Ingredients:

1 cup of oat milk

1 chai tea bag

1 cup of GF oats

Cinnamon, nutmeg

1 TBSP of almond butter

½ TSP of almond extract

Toppings:

Strawberries

Raspberries

1 banana

Goji berries

Chia seeds

Cinnamon

 

Instructions:

1. In a small saucepan, add 1 cup of oat milk and a tea bag of chai. Simmer on medium heat.

2. Once it the milk starts to boil add 1 cup of GF oats. Stir.

3. Once you see the oats soak up the milk well, sprinkle on 1 TSP of cinnamon and 1/2 TSP of nutmeg.

4. Then add 1 TBSP of almond butter and ½ TSP of almond extract.

5. Stir until the milk has been completely soaked up by the oats.

6. Add the oats to a bowl and start with your toppings.

7. I added strawberries, raspberries, 1 banana, goji berries, chia seeds, and a bit of more cinnamon powder.

8. Enjoy!
